(our process)
Every Lox and Chain piece begins as an object of curiosity, shaped by unexpected collisions and designed to become part of someone's story.
Each piece is designed in Australia and handcrafted in Indonesia from solid 925 sterling silver. The process begins with hand-drawn sketches and sculpted wax carvings before being cast, refined and finished by skilled makers. Many pieces are intentionally oxidised, creating depth and character. Any silver left over from production is melted down and reused, so nothing goes to waste.
Until 2023, every piece was made from our bedroom in Byron Bay. Silver dust covered everything, but it taught us that quality comes from obsession. We've grown beyond those four walls, working with a carefully selected small team of silversmiths and craftsmen in Bali. Our mindset remains unchanged. We continue to produce in small batches with an uncompromising attention to detail, always limited, never mass produced.
Made to be worn every day, every piece develops its own patina over time, becoming more personal with age. Designed to be worn til death, every Lox and Chain piece is backed by our lifetime warranty.
