HYSTERIA Lookbook
HYSTERIA wasn’t built from one reference point. It came from collision.Polished metal against worn metal. Organic softness against cold abrasion...
A lot of the inspiration came from atmosphere rather than direct visuals.
A few select albums stayed on while I was designing, not intentionally, but maybe subconsciously.
Or because I just love them.
Music has a way of shaping emotional texture. I think thats why you can see contrast in the result.
Mixed metals, mixed chains, piercings..
some kind of feeling of wanting more noise but also more quiet at the same time.
I think its also true to say the collection also reflects the way people actually wear jewelry now.
Less rigid or perfectly curated and more personal.
Pieces with mixed metals and chains layered imperfectly - almost tangled up - just like a personality is
a huge amalgamation of parts that somehow equal a fully realized whole.
I'd say at its core, HYSTERIA is contradiction. It's somewhere between industrial and organic.
Which sounds like a pretty accurate reflection of the time we're living in.
